Duties and responsibilities of the MECHANICAL ENGINEER include:
- Designing, maintaining, implementing and improving mechanical components, equipment products, or systems
- Performing a wide range of engineering tasks by operating computer-assisted design.
- Ensuring that installation and operations conform to standards and customer requirements by preparing mechanical system specifications, technical drawings, or system maps.
- Help to establish and implement standards and specifications.
- Maintaining mechanical equipment.
- Working with a variety of technicians on a day-to-day basis.
Skills and competencies of the MECHANICAL ENGINEER:
- Bachelor’s degree, with a major in Mechanical Engineering or related field of study.
- 5+ years’ experience or demonstrated expertise in the field.
- Design for Manufacturing, CAD, Material Science
- Experience with designing robotic or electro-mechanical systems.
- Experience with Thermal and FEA simulation.
- Experience with Design for Manufacturing / Assembly.
- Knowledge of CAD or related software.
- Design for manufacturing (including but not limited to CNC, injection molding, and 3D printing.

QUALIFICATIONS and RESPONSIBILITIES for the INSIDE TECHNICAL SALESPERSON:

- Develop equipment specifications for motors, variable speed drive systems and PLC control systems.
- Generate electrical drawing packages.
- Program PLC’s, HMI’s, and Drive systems to meet equipment performance requirements
- Perform factory acceptance testing of electrical control systems
- Perform equipment startup, commissioning, and training
- Support existing equipment with troubleshooting support
- Light Travel Required.
Successful SR. ELECTRICAL ENGINEER candidate should possess the following qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology
- 5+ years of relevant experience
- PLC & HMI Application & Programming experience
- Allen Bradley ControlLogix PLC, Allen Bradley, Red Lion, Wonderware HMI’s
- Experience with DCS systems is a plus
- Experience with DC & AC variable speed drive systems.
- Experience should include startup, programming, tuning, and troubleshooting.

- Experience as a TOOL & DIE MAKER who can construct precision tools or metal forms, that are used to cut, shape, and mold metal, plastics, and other materials.
- Trouble Shoot, Assemble, Sharpen, and maintain Sheet Metal Shearing Forming, and Bending Dies
- A minimum of 5 years tool and die experience in a Manufacturing Environment.
- The ability to Read and Apply information from Blueprints and technical manuals
